Setting up and moving to a new Apple device
For a new Mac, iPhone or iPad, we discuss which files, photos, applications and accounts you want to keep using. We prepare the transfer together and check your existing backup first. You enter passwords and verification codes yourself.
Backups and digital preparation
We can organise your important files, backups and digital accounts together. We discuss where data is stored, how you access backups and how to create a clear overview for yourself. You remain in control of personal credentials.
Online help and on-site appointments by arrangement
On a Mac, we can work together through remote support after you approve the connection. On iPhone and iPad, help uses guidance and, where supported, screen sharing; you operate the device yourself. Online support needs a working device and internet connection. Occasional on-site appointments in Germany, particularly around Stuttgart and Ludwigsburg, are available by arrangement. We discuss availability and any travel costs in advance.
Frequently asked questions
Can you remotely control my iPhone or iPad?
This service does not provide full remote control as on a computer. I guide you through the steps and can use screen sharing where supported. You operate the device yourself.
Can you help with iCloud and switching devices?
Yes. We can work through settings, synchronisation and preparation for a data transfer. What is possible depends on your devices, access to your accounts and existing backups.
How much does online Apple help cost?
The first session unit costs €39 for up to 30 minutes, then €10 per additional 10 minutes or part thereof. Each additional billing interval has a 2-minute grace period. We discuss the issue and terms before starting.
